Emergency & Incident Plan
EMERGENCY & INCIDENT PLAN
In the event of an emergency or accident involving anyone the following action plan will be used:
- Get yourself to safety.
- Call 911 / 9-911 (from WSF landline).
- Clearly state the nature of your emergency.
- State the exact location (based on permanent structures).
- Remain on the phone with the 911 call taker until they direct you otherwise.
- Remain at the incident scene until released by the responding emergency/security personnel or instructed to leave.
If you are reporting any injury:
- Unless necessary, do not leave injured person unattended.
- Call 911 or direct one person to call 911.
- Stay with them and assure them help is on the way.
- If the person has life-threatening conditions, the 911 call taker will direct you in life-saving procedures.
- Watch/listen for first responders, and help them pinpoint your location.
If you are reporting a theft, altercation or problem with a vendor or guest:
- Remain calm and in a safe area to identify the person/s.
- Do not become involved.
- Be available to point out the situation to Fair personnel or authorities.
