Emergency & Incident Plan

EMERGENCY & INCIDENT PLAN

In the event of an emergency or accident involving anyone the following action plan will be used:

  1. Get yourself to safety.
  2. Call 911 / 9-911 (from WSF landline).
  3. Clearly state the nature of your emergency.
  4. State the exact location (based on permanent structures).
  5. Remain on the phone with the 911 call taker until they direct you otherwise.
  6. Remain at the incident scene until released by the responding emergency/security personnel or instructed to leave.

If you are reporting any injury:

  • Unless necessary, do not leave injured person unattended.
  • Call 911 or direct one person to call 911. 
  • Stay with them and assure them help is on the way. 
  • If the person has life-threatening conditions, the 911 call taker will direct you in life-saving procedures. 
  • Watch/listen for first responders, and help them pinpoint your location. 

If you are reporting a theft, altercation or problem with a vendor or guest:

  • Remain calm and in a safe area to identify the person/s.
  • Do not become involved. 
  • Be available to point out the situation to Fair personnel or authorities.
