Service Animals are welcome throughout the facility. Comfort animals and family pets are not allowed on fair campus property. Initial screening will take place at all fair entrance gates.
What is a service animal?
A dog or miniature horse individually trained to help someone with a disability. Emotional support animals are not service animals.
Do I need proof that my animal is a service animal?
No. You don't need proof that your animal is a service animal, and you don't need to describe your disability. Animal vests that say "Service Animal" does not establish qualifications as such. Screening questions will include the following:
What is required of my service animal when on-site?
We do not allow service animals on rides. Once on fair property, service animals are required to be under the control of their handler at all times.
If a service animal poses a direct threat or the animal causes a significant disruption, the individual and their service animal may be asked to leave the premises.
